Bonobo Female

Is the female Bonobo on her lunch break? She's just sitting there, resting her hands on her knees. Maybe she just misses her playmates. Bonobos are very social and don't like to be alone. The female Bonobo prefers to spend time with her family and, of course, her friends. Where has everyone gone? Maybe there will be someone around soon to keep her company.

She looks very much like a chimpanzee. No wonder - both come from the same ape family. But experts can recognise bonobos immediately by their light lips and distinctive middle parting. A pretty cool hairstyle for the female Bonobo, don't you think?
